A. J. Brigati is a native of Tavernier, Florida. He earned the BA (1994) at St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida and the MA (2000) at the University of Montevallo. He is currently completing his doctoral coursework at MTSU and is teaching full-time at the University of Montevallo, where he professes 18th and 19th  Century British Literature, Critical Theory and Sports Literature.
